Voila! supported us through every step of the design and creation of our bespoke website, from initial discussions on potential background themes and website skins, to sourcing plugins or designing functionality tools form scratch according to our specifications. This was at times quite challenging as we had specified a preferred platform for our site, which we hoped would maximise our self-sufficiency in the future. At every stage Voila! were focused on ensuring that we ended up with a product that not only looked good and worked well, but also served our specific purposes, took into account our desire for self-sufficiency and cost saving, and made working across our virtual team more effective.

Starting from scratch, Voila! created an interactive map system to enable us to signpost users to physical activity sessions, and built this specifically around the neighbourhood areas into which our town has been divided. A bespoke system for entering sport competitions virtually was also developed, which facilitated entry, publication, calculation, and filtering of results, and also presented scores in statistical pie charts.

In addition to the development of bespoke functionality, Voila! integrated a google calendar into the site which allows us not only to share our events, but to help people access them by virtue of its link to googlemaps, and sourced an effective plugin to enable us to upload and share newsletters in a turning page format, thus saving us money in tri-annual print runs.

When ever we required a specific piece of functionality, Voila! researched the best solution, and helped us to achieve it at the most realistic cost possible.
